Needs more on HbA1c and complications--- excellent, but needs auto backup Some essential tools lacking, like HbA1c tracking /converter in mmol/Mol, for tracking / dealing with complications like nephropathy, & remove ads, but good app generally. Also needs auto backup, at user selectable intervals -- this data should not be able to be lost, so make it automatic - recent version of Play Store crashed so I lost a couple of days data

Great app!! Little quirks need fixin. Parts of the screen are frozen like the comments about how your glucose is doing. Mine is stuck on "Hey, your glucose is low after lunch!" But other than that, love the diagrams, charts and daily logs.

Best Tracker This blood glucose tracker, weight tracker, oh yeah and blood pressure tracker and food intake tracker this is the best one on Google play. I have used a few others but none come close to the amount of information this app gives you. I don't know why there isn't at least 500k downloads. I think some of you might be overwhelmed by all the information at first but it is all useful. Download this app and you won't need multiple apps to track your information.

Fantastic Tracker I was recently diagnosed Type II and really needed something to help me manage it. I tried several apps, and quickly started leaning towards this one. I like the layout and all the info I need as right on the first screen. My update recommendation would be for the ability to track more exercise information tailored to the exercise (ie running, miles, time, etc.)

Wonderful Best app i have used to focus on improving my health, i never rate apps but I couldn't resist. I love the new addition of the motivational words at the top right and the predicated hba1c is great. I would suggest if it could connect straight to my pump to retrieve the data.Well done to the creator.

No feed back This app would be great if it had a desktop link to make the app larger to fill in then sync with your phone. I've tried to contact the web sit several times but no one has bothered to answer my question. Too bad, because this is a nice app to use. If someone answers my question I would upgrade this review.

I Choose To Live It is so easy to say,"I want to be healthy. I want a six-pack (abs). I want to look like so and so... Etc. Etc. Etc." But, the challenge quickly amounts to putting in the work, being consistent and diligent to that work, then watching the reward. I am thankful for this App. December 30, 2014, I discovered I had Type II Diabetes. My Blood Glucose was 622 (Optimal Range: 80-120), I weighed 374lbs. Doctors told me, "You are seconds away from a Stroke, or even death." This App helped me get out of harms way.

Amazing App for Diabetes I wanted to find a good app for logging my sugars and insulin, so I tried out seven different ones. This app blows all of the others out of the water. This app goes above and beyond by taking the info you enter and giving you breakdowns on everything you could possibly need to know. The graphs and analysis leave no question as to "what should I do here.." And the reports you can email to your Dr. are customizable, which is incredibly useful. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

The BEST Diabetic App I Have Used I don't usually rate app's but I couldn't not rate this one! This would be the best Diabetic App I have ever used by far! If I had to pick on the app, the only thing I would like to see added is the Novomix Insulin but other than that, I can't think of anything this app doesn't have. Very well thought out and programmed This is the best app I have found for diabetes. It contains insulin calculation and active insulin display. I like the layout and display of the log with notes and the capability of export. It allows for the most comprehensive tracking I've seen so far. Very useful.

Is close to perfect! I am a caregiver for my diabetic mom, I've been using this app for about a month and it is excellent compared to the app I was using, it allows for syncing across multiple devices, which is a step up for me, the only thing that would make it better is a better food database that is barcode Scanable like the "My Fitness Pal" app, Easy 5 stars if that happens! Great app This app is feature rich, well thought out and executed. I am a type 2 diabetic struggling with getting my levels under control. The reports this app provides has been a huge help in doing so, they put everything in perspective. I also like the reminders and their flexible settings. The food database is a huge help as well, plus you can add your own food. With a little bit of math I can put the total nutritional value of my most common meals into one entry.

Best diabetic logging app so far! This is a very useful and powerful app, however I wish the food list was more user friendly and that it could sync with other fitness or diet apps. Great place to start but hoping the developers keep up the good work!

Most user friendly app on the market with tons of features. Interface might seem a bit overwhelmed for a regular user at first glance, but it is actually really simple and worth getting familiar with. Finally a diabetes diary app that is convenient enough to keep using it daily. Just to give you more ideas: auto sync with dropbox etc. A better way to add and track cannula insertion site for pump users, atm you have to add some extra data to save the location (all data fields empty). Maybe use color spectrum (red - latest, green - oldest)

Too complicated This application looks very powerful. But, the UI needs better navigation functionality. The data connection options don't work on my galaxy S4. The food database doesn't seem to have much with respect to prepared foods. The carb ratio functions don't automatically fill in when adding BG's. The help Web page doesn't have enough detail to explain the features.

Best of the bunch! Tried all the top apps of this nature and this works the best for me, and it works in landscape mode on my 8" tablet.

Best Diabetes App I have gestational diabetes and my dr asked me to monitor my blood sugar and food intake and this app covers it all!

The best so far, but needs better input streamlining and a few corrections Namely, 1) the scale goes all the way up to 500 and down to 0, and is not based on real values entered and the "green zone", thus wasting the screen real estate. I'd like to see the Y axis going from either (the minimum value -10) mg/dL or the "hypo" value, whichever is less, and up to either (the maximum value+10) mg/dL or the "hyper" value, whichever is greater. This way spikes of 20-30 mg/dL would be represented correctly, and you would be able to use thicker lines/points, because 1 pixel line is a pain to read on a HiDPI device; 2) I'd like the glucose value in new entry be the previous one by default and the field itself be a spinner with +/- control. Would speed up entry drastically; 3) ketones are measured always in mmol/L, not mg/dL. I enter 2 and get 0.2 on the chart, what's that? 4) please make a paid version with no ads. Really.

The BEST Diabetic Log, Hands Down Once again Rossen has done an outstanding job with the new UI. I can't stress this enough, This is the BEST Diabetic App PERIOD!. This app just keeps getting better and better with each rev. I have been using this app religiously for over a year now, when i first started using it , it was not as expansive as it is today, there are many more import options and the learning curve maybe slightly higher but well worth it. I use this app on both my tablet and phone and they synch up perfectly.

Superb The latest update is great. The only change or capability I would like to see is being able to add different categories. This app is very useful for anyone who must manage their diabetes. Since I have been using the app this week - my reaction to my blood glucose readings have been proactive. I also like the reminders. I like this app Now having to log my glucose readings several times a day, I was pleased to see there were apps to keep the stats. I downloaded the top 5 for android and used them all for a while. This one was clearer, nicely set out, better functionally, more aesthetically pleasing, superb quality, intuitive to use, and showed the highs/lows figures within the bands in the graph. I will stick with this one. It's so good, should be a paid for app!

Great app a little hard to get started on Changed over from diaguard app after having insulin added. This tracks it easier but was a pain to get started up. But i am now lost without it!

Love having the food to help figure carbs. Just need more food choices would be nice but do like being able to add my own foods

The Best Diabetes App I've Used So Far I've tried a lot of different diabetes apps and this is my favorite so far. All the expected features are there plus a dosage calculator and it even let's you track your testing and injection sites. And the new design just puts it over the top.

Comprehensive and useful Easily the best such app I have trialled. The available fields are really comprehensive, layout is intuitive and carefully designed. Calculator and 'insulin on board' calculations are new to me and a godsend. Ability to email reports and sync to Dropbox/drive is amazing. Finally thank you for building the app with only minimal permission requirements and unobtrusive advertising. I will be donating.

Wonderful This app does everything I need done in order to keep track of my glucose levels, medications, carb intake, exercise, and more. The charts and graphs are readable and very helpful. This is by far the best diabetes app out there that I have found.

Amaizing tool After a bad scare with pancreatitis I started using this tool to track my husband's diabetes. I love it. Wish it would track his medicine and sugar levels without paying for the full service. I'll probably pay it since it's so easy to use. Best part is the ability to export the info for his doctor.

Overall good comprehensive app This app does everything you need. At the moment it's annoying me with popup ads. I would buy this ad-free and give it 5 stars in an instant. One other thing that would improve it would be a quicker way to dial in values other than typing them in, much like the libra app does for weight.

Perfect app for diabetics I use this app for my son to log his BGs and the calculator function makes life so much easier and I find it far more accurate then me trying to figure out his bolus in my head. I was wondering if theres an iPhone app of this as well? That way my wife could have it on her phone. At any rate thank you for making this app and for the hard work you have put into it.

Excellent app It has all the fields for data entry I could ever use and then some. Graphs, summaries, all sorts of displays of glucose levels, insulin, etc. BRILLIANTLY DINE! One thing missing, for me is a reminder time of 2.5 hours as that's what works best for my after meal check times. But otherwise, excellent!

THE most comprehensive app for diabetes! Not only does it have a spectacular set of features, the developer is friendly and super responsive. And the price is right, although I am actually hoping for a premium version so I can properly express my appreciation for this wonderful tool. I have tried many other apps in this category; *none* are even close to this one. Web Access I would give this app a 5 if I could review and edit data online using my PC. But on my phone and tablet, this is the best app I have ever used. Hopefully it can only get better...

I love it aside from a few things. It would be perfect for me if you could go back and modify log entries, and if you could change the bloodsugar insulin method to units for points over 100 , like I take one unit of apidra for every 30 points over 100 for my sugar. (just an example) rather than sensitivity. That would make the calculator so much more handy for me. Great job so far, this is the only app I have tried that I can actually see my self using faithfully. Thank you, things like these help a lot! :-)

Excellent App! I've been searching for days for a health tracker. Finally, I found the one that works for me! Now, on to purchase the ad free app!

The best I've found! I have looked at and tried many apps, but this is the most comprehensive one I found. I am still learning new things about it sometimes. That is really the only complaint I have; it is a big app and there is a lot to explore, but it does so much.

Another app that nags you to rate I get nagged everytime I open the app. I've updated my rating 17 times now.

I do love this app, BUT... ....But it just NEEDS & Should Have a calculator. The kind that has actual Numbers & can Also Do Math Calculations. I also saw on this other type of app to help with losing weight, But IT deals with Calories. Anyway.....with that app IT had a Scanner to Scan the barcodes on different foods, & then after scanning the whatever then all you have to do is put the Quantity. I do Love this app that Deals with Carbs & Insulin Pumps.

Type 1 diabetic. UK based. Brilliant app. Best I've tried, and the one I'd recommend to any diabetic. Great stats, love the ease of use, extremely effective for spotting carb creep and ratios that need tweaking.

A bit klutzy but great stats Navigating the app is not always easy but this is mitigated by the wealth of statistics that it supplies. It's obvious that a great deal of effort has been expended by the developer, and for that he should be commended.

Saving my life This is the best app helps me to control my sugar and take my meds in a better way since this shop my sugar a1c has dropped 1.3 I feel better and I'm able to do my sliding scale better and more efficient. After recent heart ailments I knew some things needed to change .thank you. Only thing it might need is more in depth food list .but you can add items by label .it is best one I found

Food list is not too bad, check packaging to the list as sometimes, the values are largely different. (Diff place to developers) But add in the fact I can also add food items is brilliant. Only 2 issues that I've come across - the meal times should be a timeframe as opposed to a specific time, as I'm constantly having to correct the after to before and please have a paid version so I can choose to get rid of the ads!

New diabetic Found app to be very easy to nav.

I waited to rate this until my first visit with my doctor after diagnosis. I really liked it. He LOVES it! I gather many of his follow up meetings start with him scrolling through raw data on a glucometer. I emailed report to myself and printed it for him before appointment. He asked me to do that for every follow-up. Program is VERY configurable to a person's needs, schedule and habits, which I like very much. It helps me know how I react to meds, different foods, supplements, and types of exercises even hours after or next day as I see patterns. Good data import abilities. Developer tweaks as new needs are found.

Fab but need help Trying to manage my mums diabetes and this app is great but I don't understand alot of it like 'bolus' & 'Hb..'?? Is there a instruction manual I can download & print off? Please?

Has everything...but complicated. Love this app has everything a diabetic could possibly need/want to chart, but finding it difficult to use and too complicated at spots especially having trouble with entering multiple food items. Love the calculator and how it shows how much insulin is still in affect.

Good app. Does most things I want, but I only use a slow insulin once a day. No selection for that. A petty thing really, good app.

Tried several apps like this one the best. Would give it five stars if the food section were more comprehensive, read bar codes etc.

Really good This app has nearly everything I want. Besides all the glucose and diabetes stats, you can also log BP, which can be a concern as well. My minor quibble is that on charts, it would be nice to have variable time spans; for example, picking a 10 day or 2 week time span. Still better than any other I have tried.

Not efficient enough The food log is cumbersome for a guy that cooks stuff from scratch. E mail reports are confusing and in html format. This is a arcaic form of formating. Makes it hard to share with medical professionals.

Good Better than any other loging i tryed. I have a sleep disorder. I would like to see a way to keep up with the time. A place to log it in. And a graph to see how I'm doing for the week. It need to have two fields to wright up. Needs a spot for the Time and AHI.

Excellent The only app that combines all the logs in with an insulin calculator that calculates insulin on board and everything. Love the widget. Would be awesome if it got Material Design on the next update. Please keep it up!

Diabetic

Great health tracking tool I've used other tools, both diabetic and non, this is hands down the best. There is a slight learning curve but all the features and reporting is worth the effort. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to track health related statistics.

Great app As a new diabetic this app is a God send. It really simplifies the tracking and monitoring process. It has a lot of capability. Documentation really needs to be improved.

Great app My little girl is type 1, I've searched and tried several other apps none of them had what I wanted. Most other apps seem to be aimed at type 2 and are not customizable enough to get then to work for a 5 year old type 1. Great app thank you.

The Best Diabetes Management App This software is awesome, not only compared to other diabetes apps I've tried, but compared to quality apps in general. There are very few bugs, and the software creator is very responsive to user requests and needs, and fixing those bugs. There is a learning curve, and some features like the calculators are very technical, but if I managed to learn how to use it (while at the same time learning about diabetes), then anyone can. The only thing I would like to see is a companion Web site or desktop app.

Pretty good Easy to use app. Would like to have a separate graph for fasting ratings & weight loss graph that shows all weight loss during use of app, verses 90 days being the longest. A meal planner would be nice as well, as long as I'm dreaming. This being said, I do like the app. Thank you

Best diabetes app It is a bit more complicated than some apps, but it is very thorough and detailed. It is very helpful for managing diabetes. Its the only app of its kind I use. Thanks for a great app!

Absolutely the best for Diabetics I've tried them all and this is the best. Future wishes are too be able to add custom categories for logging food events. Graphs don't always extend to current date, off by a day or two... Easy to use love the stats page!!!

My diabetes I love this program, I'm more uniform with my reading and shots because of the alarm. I like the charts and the medicine list. I love that I can email all of it to my doctor. I have noticed no bugs or had any problems with it. It is a great app.

My Diabetes An excellent application to assist you with the logging of your blood sugar, carbohydrate intake and insulin dose and if you are on a insulin pump as I am the included food data base gives you the carbohydrate and fat and calories as well as protein. In my opinion you can't go wrong!

My Diabetes This is a very interesting app. It gives a lot of very useful information that I haven't seen in any of the other apps. The charts are very interesting and it has given me in one sense better goals to go after than even what my doctor suggested. It has allowed me to see trouble areas too. So far I am pretty impressed by this application. I definitely recommend it

All inclusive I've been using this app for almost two months, this is the first tracker app that has it all, a calculator to help with doses and corrections, reminders, and easy to read logs, and really so much more then what I can list. Two suggestions to the designers: 1. setup tutorial because I didn't learn about the calculator until the diabetes nurse showed me. 2. It would be great if the food list could be more inclusive like My Fitness Pal.

My Diabetes I rated on last night before I got this app. This app is even better than the first one. It's very well organized and detailed oriented. It will help me target times and carbs and meal's. It gives me a visual target and not just a Doctor saying what it should be. This helps me see it and allows me the motivation to want to reach my goals and target Alhamdullilah. Very good work.

Perfect app for easy reports I have tried every free app available. If you want a clear, easy to access glucose log for emailing to your doctor, THIS IS THE ONE! Every computer I know of is capable of viewing .HTML format. Can also link to Dropbox and Drive if you need to grant access for your care team. You may not need all aspects of the app but Rossen is wonderful at listening and working with you if you have suggestions or problems.

Really like the repeat reminders. Would like to have the ability to change the names of the descriptor labels (fasting, before breakfast...)

The BEST Diabetic Log, Hands Down This is the BEST Diabetic App I've found here by far hands down. This app keeps getting better and better with each revision, when i first started using it , it was not as expansive as it is today, there are many more import options and the learning curve maybe slightly higher but well worth it. Overall I've DL'd most of the Diabetic apps available here and none of them come close to this one, you wont be disappointed ... My only gripe is its not on windows phone. I finally figured out how to synch from phone to tablet, but not notebook. This app is an unrivaled home run. Lastly this is one of my most used apps and if I could give this app ten stars I would, its just that good!. The only thing besides windows compatibility that this program needs is a how to or user guide/video. but other than that this is my go to app for diabetic management period. Thank you Rossen...

Useful and well thought-out I've been using this for about a month after trying various apps to help me calculate insulin dosage (Type 1 diabetic). What I really like about it is that as well as helping in calculating insulin vs carbs, it goes further and helps me to analyse the ratio of bolus vs correction. Using its results I made some adjustments to my carb ratio and am finding that I get much better results and have to take fewer corrective doses. The design means that adding log results retroactively is easy, and the charting section is really useful. There are a couple of minor things I can't seem to get working properly, and personally I could do without the weight & calorie tracking functionality, but overall I'm really impressed.

Has everything! Best app I've used so far to track my glucose readings. The charts and graphs help me track trends so I can predict dangerous fluctuations in my levels. The injection site recording tool is also incredibly helpful! The only thing I'd change is the reminder tone--I hope future versions make it customizable.

Loving this app Just found out I have the betes. That sucks, but this app is making it really easy to track my blood sugar. I don't use any of the stuff for type1 so I can't comment on that. Give it a try. Some integration for fitbit would be really nice. Import of exercise etc. I hate using two or more apps to track my exercise and food.

Works great I have this on my phone and tablet. It allows me to synchronize the data so that I have the most recent readings, and an easily accessible device for input. The reports are great. My only problem is that this is app is directed toward insulin dependent diabetics. I'm not there yet, and hope not to become dependent. It would be good if I could turn off the Therapy, Insulin, Insulin Dose setting, and the Medication section. I just need something that I can use for tracking, I don't need dosage advice or records of Insulin dosage. I found that by combining this with using MyFitnessPal, I can get very accurate data on Carbs, Protein, Fats, and Calories.

Fits my needs so far Right now I am not on insulin so there are some parts of the app that I can't judge. However, this app is super for recording glucose levels. The only downside that I have encountered is that the carb list part is frustrating/confusing to use. It seems that most of the foods I eat are carbs but some are measured like 3oz or 3/4 cup and I haven't figured out how to create/add that item so it shows up correctly. This downside is more user error than app. Wish food list was larger.

This is a great app. I have used it for about a month now and have had no problems with it. I wish all the information could be entered on one page but it's not a deal breaker

All around good app It backs itself up on dropbox and SD card, shows excellent stats for meals, carbs, etc, and calculates insulin if you need that.

Just what i need for my kid My 4 years old son has T1D. This app is great for managing his glucose numbers. I like the most that i can sync the data with other devices so if i'm not home i can see the numbers my wife writes and vice versa.

Awesome for Type 1! Excellent Job with the app! Absolutely LOVE the calculator and the attention to details. Its all in the details! I would sacrifice fancy visuals any day for the amount of detail and reporting any day! Great App! I really like the idea of being able to use this app with my physician. My hba1c level has gone down .5 points. I'm hoping that tinkering with the app some more, that I will be able to figure out the "carb counter" and understand it. Too bad it didn't come with an instruction manual.

Needs more on HbA1c and complications Some essential tools lacking, like HbA1c tracking /converter in mmol/Mol, for tracking / dealing with complications like nephropathy, & remove ads, but good app generally.

Does all I want It does more than I want really. It's easy to use. I like the graphs. All I could ask for is a way to remove the ads.

Helps a lot I usually have high numbers and this program had helped a lot. A little too much actually, as I have had a couple of lows because of overestimating. As you enter data, you can see approximately what your carb ratio and correction numbers are. You can see what insulin is active in your system at any given time. When you use the food calculator it sets reminders to check your numbers and take split doses. The graphs are very informative. Diabetes is hard to manage on your own. Pairing this with a fitness tracker app so I can scan the barcode on my foods and track my nutrition information (the built in food tracker has no scanner) has made me more aware and able to track my numbers efficiently.

THE most comprehensive app for diabetes! Not only does it have a spectacular set of features, the developer is friendly and super responsive. And the price is right, although I am actually hoping for a premium version so I can properly express my appreciation for this wonderful tool. The best app for recording and evaluating diabetic data I have found or used in 35 years of using insulin. Having it available when I am eating out helps me evaluate meals using the food lists. I use it for blood pressure, weight, and it's great to record memos. The program is written so you can use one or two features or all of them. The more I use it the more I like it

Excellent App - Should Be The Editor's Choice For Diabetics I have tried many methods to monitor blood sugar, carbs, insulin, activity etc. I am a lawyer in Manhattan and also a taekwon-do and kickboxing instructor. I've had diabetes for 36 years since I was 12 and have worn a pump for more than 20 years. I've made graphs and logs and used pen and paper. It always fails because it is inconvenient and I miss recording data. Using my cell makes sense - it is always with me, like my pump and meter. So there is no excuse to miss tracking data. I tried several other apps for my Samsung Galaxy S4 android phone for diabetes. This is the best. The developer Rossen has been very helpful in answering questions I had - emailing me all the way from Bulgaria. The app helps identify patterns and is very useful. I have a few suggestions to improve it but it works very well as it is now. I did want to track calories so I am currently using a custom field in medications for that. Other alternate apps are lacking in some of the features I wanted or are cumbersome. The goal for all diabetics is to maintain good blood glucose control and stay healthy. This app helps immensely. You can tell that a lot of thought went into this.

Great app, must have! I've tried over a dozen apps hoping to find one that suit my needs. I had to uninstall every single one till I had My Diabetes set up. This app has all the features (the most comprehensive) I wanted. It backs up data to Dropbox or Google Drive and restores from them. It also imports cab from several popular glucose metres. My big thank-you goes to the author!

I've been primarily using it to log and chart my daily bG results, but it is so much more powerful than that! It is constantly being updated with very cool new features. Kudos to the developers. Has everything you need plus Does more things than you can possibly think of. Not really, but you're likely to not have thought of some of the computations this app makes of the raw pump/cgm data. I wish it could communicate directly with my pump instead of me having to export/import. Maybe a future update.

Very good diabetes tracker. Of the diabetes apps I've tried I found this the most user friendly and intuitive. The data recording, reports and graphs tell me exactly what I need to know. Backup to gdrive keeps my data safe. Ads are a little annoying and I'd pay to get rid of them if option was available.

Awesome app for diabetics Works well and I can send results of testing right to my Doctor's email.

The usefulness and completeness of this app make me very happy A very useful and complete app to register my diabetes. The entry of data is easy, the reporting charts are good and the programme has also data-transfer options. I miss a little bit the estimate of the required basal insuline, because before going to bed the doctor advised me to inject a basal insuline and it is always difficult to estimate the correct dose. Another future wish would be the simulation of bloodsugars taking into account the basal and bolus insulines and (projected) carbs intakes. But even without these future enhancement i can fully recommend this app to all diabetics.

Best diabetic application I have tried 5 other apps and none are even close to this one. Graphs and pie charts make it very easy to see how I am doing over time and the statistics on the log page show my day at a quick glance. Until they make a blood meter that plugs into my smart phone I will use this app and manually enter my data

Sami. Samsung S4. Some of the insulin like a rapid/short starting after some period, "I.e. actrapid insulin starting after 0.5 hr of the injection. So please add this function. Thanks again and nice app.

Best glucose app so far I've tried a handful of others and like this one best. Easy to enter bg, insulin and notes all at once. The statistical info about units used everyday and % of basal vs bolus is very helpful!

Best out of all apps for diabetes Does what it suppose to do. Input of data is very easy and reminders are just awesome. Boo to google for not allowing developer to sell app. Only complain is that it occasionally uses a lot of battery of my nexus 5.

Good app needs 1 improvement. I love this app. Takes a bit of time to imput foods but when done it is easy, quick, accurate and makes type 2 easier to manage. Thank you.
