Love the series and welcome electronic copy, but cannot download upgrade and ebook is not accessible on my ipad. Please resolve these technical problems, this is a great text and does not deserve to be let down by sloppy IT work.

Better than ever
I had the Merck Manual on my Palm device but This IPad Merck app is just incredibly good. It is impossible to regret buying this app. I can wholeheartedly recommend this app.

Funktioniert nicht auf iPhone, das Buch lässt sich runterladen aber nicht benutzen, da man gezwungen ist up-zu-daten und während des updaten eine Fehlermeldung kommt nicht mehr im Internet zu sein! Habe versucht im iTune das App. up-zu-daten , funktioniert aber nicht. Keine Probleme gibt es beim iPad, das Dict. selbst ist empfehlenswert.

Merck Manual
Have used this reference since 1968. Mobile media version is a whole order of magnitude over carrying a bunch of books around. I am just returning to practice after a stint in health policy. Online study and iOS apps sure beat the old ways. With an emphasis on evidence based care and outcomes analysis, having current, quickly available reference material is essential.
It's a great reference
There are some common terms I look for that reveal no results so its not really a good index-style search function. But the content is fantastic. And with each condition it gives a few sentences worth of a synopsis of what it's all about. Also great sections on the "approach to the ____ patient"

I have been using Griffin's 5- minute medical consult but I find the thoroughness and obvious broader subject matter of the Merck Manual much more useful in my hybrid family/urgent care practice. Highly recommend it!

I bought this app this morning. But it always error when first open (it tells me to update the app, but always error when downloading the update).please fix it. I live in Indonesia
Good app but needs an update!
This is by far ones the best app for medical students, physicians, and anyone else interested in medicine. I particularly love the audio and the video section that comes with it. But this app needs an update. Many of the references that are used in the treatment sections are from 2009 or older. Medicine has changed a lot since then thus more recent references, update on drugs, treatments, and general pathologies is needed.
