Total Failure
This app locked up at the "find my shade" prompt, so it didn't tell me what product I could use. Didn't even name my hair color. Useless. One star is one star too many for this app.

Doesn't work
The app does not pick up my hair color. It's not even remotely close. I've tried it indoors, outdoors, with and without flash, from pictures, and it kept giving me some light ash color when my hair is a really dark brown. Not sure how others were able to get it to work.

Useless!
Can't detect tone, a huge issue in hair color. Won't allow you to branch out & try a new color, it sticks to what you have. I say "B F D!" Waste of time! The one star was for my stupidity trying to make the app function. letterb Spokane Valley, Wa

Awesome!
Matched my hair color perfectly... New color looks totally natural!

Bad app
Nice try, but no cigar. I use a non-permanent color from natural instincts. Clairol discontinued the Sahara Rose, a strawberry blonde that worked to match my natural color and cover the gray. Now I'm forced to dye with medium golden blonde and wash with a color shampoo to get a slight carrot tinge. This app put me straight into nice n easy, a permanent color, in which I'm not interested. And it's the same medium golden blonde as natural instincts. Useless app.

Too generic!
App made me answer questions and take pictures only to give me 20 choices to chose from and app implies you can "try on" the hair color by taking a picture. It just displays your color choices next to your face--stupid!!

Program won't pick color
The program goes all thru the screens take a picture of scalp and face then when it's suppose to pick the color it freezes up

Doesn't do much
This app is a good idea in concept but there isn't as much substance to it as it seems from the preview screens. It actually did a pretty good job of identifying my natural hair color from a photo, but as far as I can tell, it did not adjust the color of the different dye options based on my underlying natural color to give me an idea of what the color will actually look like on me. It also didn't do anything with the photo of my own face. You can't "try on" a new hair color on your photo; all it does is put your face next to a (stock, not customized) picture of hair colors. There should be a "try a different color" option so you can go back and select a different hair color without having to retake a new photo starting from step one.

Keeps crashing
Doesn't hold data and keeps crashing. Waste of time.

Love the idea, could some enhancements.
Love the idea of this app, but here are things I wish/expected it did. 1) Keep my previous pictures and not make me start over every time. 2) let me save hair colors 3) let me browse all hair colors 4) better try it on feature - change shade of color on my own picture (outline crop save area to change color)

Good idea, POOR execution
This app is a great idea but but you may as well take the data this uses up and throw it off a cliff because this app does not deliver! It says you can try on suggested hair colors after you take a picture of your face, but all it does is cover up half your picture with a color swatch. Further more, the whole point is to help you find a shade of hair color that works for you and it can't even do that. This app should be asking questions about your skin tone, not what your hair already looks like, and it only gives your existing color family to choose from. I have dark brown hair. I didn't need an app to tell me that other shades of dark-medium brown that look almost exactly the same would look good on me. What I needed was an app would actually aide in my decision as to what new color to go to. In short, they should fire whomever designed this app for them and remove it from the AppStore. Total waste of time!
