Stimulus is a supportive iOS app in patient selection for Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's Disease. 



This decision support program was developed to help clinicians identify patients who may benefit most from referral to a specialized center for the consideration of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). Only patients with Parkinson's disease are considered in this program. The recommendations reflect the opinions of an international expert panel. The panel consists of 12 neurologists with considerable experience in the field of DBS. 


The program should be viewed as a 'professional mirror' to compare your own decisions with the opinion of a panel of experts. The program is meant to assist you in forming your medical judgment but should not interfere with your independent diagnosis and treatment decision. 

Stimulus program helps you to track your patients and reminds you to follow up on your decision and data in an appropriate time.
