No pollen forecast

This year the app has not started to slow the pollen forecast. It clearly states that the forecast will start from March. It's now the 13th April and still no forecast is showing. That's why it's only 1 star as this app is a 5 stars app when it's working. Please update.

Says it is "out of season"

No useful data as it thinks it is not Hayfever season. Not updated since last year so useless.

Used to work, doesn't anymore

I used to like this app for recording my daily results, sadly this year it won't work and just crashes. To be fair I gave it a 3 star as there might be a fix coming.

Too late

The app itself states hayfever season starts late March. It's now late April and it's not started showing any hayfever information. Same story last year too. Garbage app when it starts when it bloody well feels like it.

Not working for me

Initially thee app was accurate but it is not anymore. Tree pollen are very high, grass pollen moderate and yet the app tells we are still outside of pollen time. So I moved on to another app which works accurately.

Late April is out of season (apparently)

When I launch the app, it tells me that it is out of season. Late April is obviously not out of season. Someone at Claritin needs to wake up and realise having a broken app is doing their brand no good.

OUT OF SEASON - In MAY

The app is still saying 'out of season' at the beginning of May. Clearly not. The tree pollen starts Feb/March. Grass pollen has been around the moderate level since late March. What is the point of this app?

The last year or 2 I used this app and loved it, but unfortunately this year it's not giving any information as says out of season and stays the pollen season is late March till late Aug , well as we are now in may I would say that's a major glitch 😢

It simply doesn't work, it used to be a really good app but for some reason it's stopped working. A real shame please get it sorted.

Contacted them: Having spoken to the brand team I can confirm that the Clairtyn App will be returning this year; however I cannot give a concrete date of launch. Last year the app was launched between late-March and mid-April, I would therefore expect to see it launched later this month should there be no delays in the update process.

Not working- out of season

Well it's in season for me from end of March. Today 7th April is a high pollen count. App now deleted and used push notifications from the meteorological app.

Not working at all

It appears that April is outside of the Allergy Season between March and October. I was not aware the months had been resolved-ordered ! I get hit HARD by tree pollen, so now is the really bad time for me and Bauer have just abandoned this app. Oh well can't complain, I paid nothing and am getting nothing !

10th April & app "says out of season", BUT states when opening up app hey fever season starts "end of March"? Get a grip, shabby. As if you don't know, or have the app working/readying time. My itchy eyes tell me we are DEFO in "season"! Rubbish look elsewhere for info/working app.

Used to be a great app

This used to be a great app, was reliable and accurate with its information, had a lot of good functions. Now all it says when opened is, forecast not available, so disappointed, have had to switch to another app

Stopped working

This was the best app for my hay fever now it doesn't work. Every time I open it it just say forecast not available. I won't delete it in case you sort it out but for now I have to use a different app.

Initially great

This app was fantastic, when I first downloaded The app initially gave details on the pollen count for the day & type of pollen, enabling me to determine which pollens affected me more than others However for the last month the app has stopped working & I'm unable to log the issue in the app, in shear frustration I've now deleted the app

Used to be a good app, then it would crash on my iPhone 6s+ all the time, now just doesn't work at all on any device 😡

To start with this was a fantastic app but now I'm very disappointed with this, it doesn't give me a pollen count, I suffer with terrible hayfever and would like to know what the count is for the day ... Please sort this out

Finally it's fixed and is working. Shame it was messed up for a chunk of summer - great app for hayfever sufferers otherwise!

Future?

What's this future thing about? You can select how you felt in the future? I don't get it. The App in general is okay for knowing the pollen count today and the next but that's it. No improvements over the years. But the future thing is pointless.

Re-installing app did the trick

Uninstalled app and re-installed from Apple Store. The 2016 update now works fine and this great app is up and running again. Worth trying for all who are experiencing problems with the update.

It's May and the app just says out of season and nothing else. Probably fixed when season is over. Utterly useless for hay fever suffers but apparently it's an award winning app!?

Over a month late and it doesn't work

Expected this to be released in late March early April for the start of the hayfever season but it arrives in May. And like everyone else's review has said, it doesn't work. It opens then closes. Normally very good over recent years but this year not impressed. Urgent fix or will be dumping this for the rival Benedryl.

Well done Bayer, this app is now the most useless pollen forecast available. As we are now quickly approaching MAY you've finally got this app to work. What happened to march and April? Someone on holiday where there isn't a pollen issue?

April is out of season?

My hay fever symptoms started yesterday so this morning I checked on the app to see what the pollen count was. According to the app, March to November is hay fever season so I should return to the app then. It's April 1st... Are you messing with me?!?! This app was okay last year but it's just pointless now as I can check pollen levels or type and can't record my symptoms.

Wow lucky for some that there season only started a month ago mine does not stop so how about an app that doesn't stop throughout the year but the again i don't need an app to tell me i got allergies

Seems to have been abandoned

After working fine last year, and being probably the best of the U.K. Pollen Forecast apps, in 2016 they seem to have forgotten to turn it on rendering it useless.

Shame on Bayer - like my allergies very irritating but will not be buying Clarityn on principal now and am deleting this useless app. Apple should remove it as well. Every year a delay to start working

This would be a four-star review but once again the pollen season arrives and it doesn't work,with the "out of season" message displayed on start. I've mailed support but nothing so far. I know it's a free app but they need to make it work consistently or just delete it.

Hayfever's started but this app hasn't

This app is supposed to run March - Nov. It's obviously April now and my hayfever has been bad the last few days. Open this app to get the pollen count and find it that it still thinks it's out of season and therefore it won't start. Pointless.

This used to be a useful app but despite the fact the pollen season has already started it only records 'out of season'. Have now deleted it & use the Met Office app for pollen information instead.

This app never seems to update. It only ever says we're out of allergy season at the moment. Which is utter rubbish. Don't bother downloading.

I rarely give bad reviews but we are near the end of March and the app is informing me that we are out of pollen season, now I know this is incorrect but my app thinks we are still in November. An update is urgently needed to fix this problem please.

Works for me, it wasn't on my old phone but reinstalled it on my new and its working fine. A really useful app for me so I can prepare and let my family know what the pollen forecast is for the day. Thanks Clarityn. :)

Nice idea but not working!

Will not let me choose location. Says I'm not connected to the internet which is wrong. Nice idea if it worked.

Useless

Every time I try to open this App it asks me to log in. When I tap "maybe later", it keeps refreshing the log in screen. I can't access anything except the login screen! What a waste of space...

No longer working properly

No point using this any more since My Results has stopped working. Shame as this could be quite good with a bit more effort.

Quite useful

Wasn't thinking too much when I downloaded this app. But every morning it warns me the pollen level and I find that quite useful. Overall I like the app.

Basic

I wish Apple weather app would include a pollen count. Until then, this will have to do. The 'My Results' section would be more useful if users were allowed to add medication to the diary, then we could see what works and what doesn't. As it stands, who would bother filling it in just so that they could see that they feel bad when the pollen count is high - that prt of it is a useless gimmick.

Incorrect Data

It's good on a daily basis however, when you put in "how you felt yesterday" it constantly says the pollen count was very high when it wasn't. Yesterday it was raining and a reading of very low but today it shows that yesterday's pollen count was very high again?? On the day it seems correct but it doesn't seem to remember past data even when you look at the map. I ended up deleting it.

Clarityn app

Great app for hayfever sufferers.

Partially fixed

At least the daily profile question now works, thank you, but there's no way to edit previous entries which may have been entered in error. It's a shame really that Clarityn have put their name to this app which appears to have simply just been thrown together. Could be really useful with a properly thought-out overhaul and less self-advertising.

Profile question doesn't work

Ok, I signed up, now what? Profile question has only appeared once so I'm unable to go much further with it really. The other information the app contains is easily available elsewhere so I'm struggling to see the point of keeping it on my iPhone.

This used to be an excellent app, but when the time came this year to start checking the pollen count, I found it no longer works - in mid-April it said 'Out of season' & said hayfever season is typically between April and October!!! I hoped the recent update would fix this problem - but the same problem remains, no improvement. Now deleted - utterly useless. The BBC Weather app at least provides indication of a low/medium/high pollen count.

Gives you no way of reformism symptoms as it promises. Meaning the whole point of the app is pointless. Just another pointless corporate app trying to be a real app but really just there to advertise itself. Terrible.

I find this app really useful. Just to find out whether my symptoms are likely to be hayfever or not, and to pin down which pollens I'm sensitive to.

But the current rev doesn't work. It says we're out of season. Um, it's April.

It was good last year. This year it just says out of season in April despite saying the season starts in March. [edit] Uninstalling the app and reinstalling seems to fix the problem. Increased from one star to two, it's harsh but you shouldn't have to do that.

This is clearly made to promote their meds! I am sick and tired of how they exploit this community of great apps with junk like this just to sell their products! The problem is that what we Really want is quality and reliable content! Not a childish representation of something we already know and feel!! Please don't be fooled! This app looks appealing and I like the idea of being able to have a graph of my specific allergy data and input, but it just crashes when I select the emoji on the start page. It also seems to be frozen on download. Not so clear on the Clarityn...

Just One Problem... 

Great app! I got it last year and loved it but this year when I press the advice button it crashes. Please fix, I want it to work again. I need it to work again. I suffer really badly from hayfever. I'm suffering right now as I write this, even though I've had my medicine. Please fix it for us!!!  

Love this app. Loads of data and tips about different allergies. I haven't experienced any app crashes as some other reviewers have 

3d pollen wizardry

Absolutely Stunning, love the 3d animated spores and accurate data I can get on the move. The store locator was especially useful when on holiday recently. Also Loving the Sneeze Alarm you guys produced, great fun...makes me smile even when the pollens high! Keep them coming

I am afraid to say that I have severe hayfever I have actually been asked on a spring's day if I had a fight but the truth was that damn pollen. This app supports me and it makes me more aware for the pollen count... Thank you!

They only supply pollen alerts between April to October. Thats why it's not working at the moment. It's not an application issue!!!

It is unfortunate that I must agree with the other reviewers - the app does not work as advertised due to a data feed being unavailable. It would be great to see Clarityn do a proper job on this and engineer something that does what it says on the tin. To avoid disappointing customers further I think this app should be removed until it works.

Better than piri one but still COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER. Make it 5 levels of polen. From VERY LOW to VERY HIGH. Tell us what types of pollen it is out the 5 different types, grass, blossom etc.

Handy app

This app has only ever crashed once on me. Everything about it is helpful. I think it needs different colours for the pollen levels to make them easier to see and it might be asking too much but info on the type of pollen in different areas would be fantastic. It is still brilliant for telling the pollen levels, weather and UV index of your current location. Great

Mostly seems to say HIGH. Does not distinguish between different types of pollen (grass, tree etc) - this makes is virtually useless in helping me decide if I need medication or not. Come on - you can do much better than this! There are websites out there which give much better, more useful data.

Update app!

Just installed and will be deleting this app as my main allergy is tree pollen starting with Hazel in February and this app doesn't start until April! So will be deleting it.

Seems ok

No grass pollen forecast yet!

It's mid May and my son has had his hayfever symptoms for the past 2 weeks, yet this app is still only showing the forecast for tree pollen. Be great if you could switch between which forecast you want as shown on its own allergy calendar. Sadly this is not a feature.

It's always handy to know the pollen count when you have hayfever, but this app is also a bit of fun as it 'shows' the pollen through your camera. I love it

For somebody who suffers bad from hay fever I was happy that I had found an app that could inform me of the pollen count daily. It turns out that this app is very poor and I don't recommend you download it! I asked to be notified with an alert each day, that doesn't work and also it's telling me the count is low in my area. It's the same forecast everyday but yet when I check online the forecast is different. I don't think this app really works at all.

It seems to have been accurate so far, however only time will tell with this.

Ok, but could been better.

It's Ok, it does Alert me when it's going to be high or very high in my area, but the first screen shows bubbles flying around pretending to be pollen, but covering up the camera, the bubbles still show and still fly, so they aren't actually showing airborne pollen at all, which is a bit of a con.

As a bad hayfeiver sufferer its good that it tells you the pollen count for your area but it doesnt notify me each morning like i set it to!

Remove the pollen view.

The pollen view via your camera is really gimmicky, please remove it from the app and just show a summary of the local pollen forecast on the 'Local' tab.

The app worked last year but not anymore. Have updated to latest version. Says not connected to internet. Tried many times, still doesn't work. Only works when wifi is off for some strange reason.

Very useful

I suffer quite badly from hayfever and I've found this app to be very useful for checking the pollen forecast, it's also good to know which pollens are affecting me the most. It would be good if the pollen alerts worked, but other than that a pretty good app

Same every day

Everyday is the same results on the app it says high today medium tomorrow and the map is the same everyday

No push notifications

Push notifications used to work on the older version, but they no longer work. Even after uninstalling and re-installing the app. Was really useful to have a message every morning but not having it makes the app useless. Needs resolving.

Quite like this app, the interesting little bits of information to read! Gives you a heads up on the next days pollen forecast. Plus how you can rate the day with a face, cute. My allergy is grass, so roll on August!

Not registering my daily input

Quite a useful app for seeing expected pollen levels etc. You create a graph of how you were affected the day before, but it doesn't always record your input on the graph.
