Finally an app that calculates BMI correctly. It is quite scary,the first two I downloaded did not. It is a simple equation.

Accurate but not as accurate as other BMI apps, maybe some rounding issue? Simple app. Does what it says. Not much additional information.

Age and gender should not be included in a BMI calculator. Unlike some other unofficial apps I tried (since this one was further down search results), this one rightfully doesn't include age/gender inputs.

Unfortunately, but I have to give this app the lowest rate possible. When I try to launch it on my iPhone 6S Plus with iOS 9.2 on board, the only thing I see is a black screen, and the app instantly crashes. Apparently, it doesn't have the iOS 9.2 support, so it is useless

This is a handy tool I plan to use to keep myself informed as I lose weight. It does not give professional advice to interpret the results, and that's fine with with me, because I'd rather read up on that separately or talk with a professional. It's a good basic tool that works well. FYI This is on my 4S with iOS 7

I think I'll stick to my Doctor, a week ago she told me I was in the normal/overweight range not freaking obese!!

Won't even open - just crashes right away

I am a Physician that specializes in obesity medicine and Before the app became buggy used it to calculate the new BMI for projected weight-loss. The app won't stay open even when I delete it and reload it. Please fix this bug!

I'm confused. I thought that the app might have been discontinued but it still appears on their website and in the Appstore but it doesn't work. App support goes to a 'bad' page. When you click on the app itself the screen goes black and then returns to your homepage. What is going on?

With all the upgrades it no longer works it used to be awesome however it doesn't even open app anymore instantly closes when I attempt to use it

No longer functions on latest iPad and iOS version (9.2). On launch the app instantly crashes and exits.

Found this app very helpful for a couple of years, but it no longer works with IOS 8. Won't even open.

It worked great when I first downloaded it. Now it won't even open. I have downloaded it and reinstalled it a few times and it still doesn't work. I will come back and give it five stars once you get this glitch fixed.

This APP no longer opens. When I deleted it and tried to reload it all I got was a black screen. Sad because it had been useful while working with patients in the past.

I saw another post that says it doesn't work if you are on an active call and maybe this is why. Personally I think it should work all the time. The App Support also does not work. I do hope the problem is fixed soon.

Got an issue where the input fields are non-responsive if you are on a phone call, ie if there is an active banner across the top of the phone. The tech support link for this app is also invalid, so seems abandoned. Prior to this I had used the app okay, long as you are not using your phone for calls or navigation etc.

It does what it says. But you should be able to save your result and be able to track your results. Also, the results shouldn't reset when you've exited the app. Also, the information should be within the app. It shouldn't redirect you to a web page. Please consider the feedback.

This app performs a basic calculation and allows input in metric or "standard". It doesn't store any information so you have to enter your height each time you use it. It doesn't support multi tasking so if you switch to another app (or even follow the link to the web site), when you return to the app you have to enter your height again. Learn the formula and use a calculator

Links you NIH website with lots of information about weight loss programs. Overall this adds value to what otherwise is just a number. It's how you apply knowledge that determines its benefit.

Great tool to help me track my progress on my weight loss journey. I just wish it had an optional log feature with a chart to show progress.

This app does exactly what it is supposed to do. It tells you what your BMI is as accurately as you would find it anywhere. The link to the NHLBI BMI information and support pages is a big plus and very helpful.

Yes it does what it's states it does...calculate a BMI based on a height and weight. What it completely ignores is both gender and actual physical fitness of a subject. The same person could be 6ft and 200lbs of fat or of solid muscle with 12% body fat. This app does not distinguish between the 2 telling both they are overweight!

No errors. Only one drawback, have to guess how much weight to lose to be "normal" weight.

Needs a place where u can record your daily weight and view it as a graph. Could use a lot of things, which would make it a complete package app. Perhaps a menu option for recording daily exercise, another option for tallying how many fruits/veggies u ate that day. I , personally would love an app that did all these things as well as keeping a record of my monthly cycle. Would be a complete package app. Apps need to do more than just one thing

BMI is a highly controversial way of determining whether someone is overweight. A person who does body building could have an obese BMI although having little body fat as muscle is dense and therefore heavy. Nevertheless BMI calculation is standardized by the AMA and is not gender specific. So the reviews criticizing this app based on not liking the results are not fair. This app does what it's designed to do, which is to provide a BMI calculation based on height and weight without prejudice. What the user decides to do with that info is another matter. The app works fine.

Time to optimize for iPhone 5 for aesthetics. Otherwise a simple app that works just fine. Gives good advice.
