Overall this app is good. I love that I can monitor my son even from a different town. However, a few simple improvements could make it great. I'd love to see options more personalized, i.e. Alarms, let me decide to have it repeat as often as 1 minute, or better yet, an option that it does not silence until I silence it. If you're in a deep sleep, sometimes it's not heard. The other improvement I would suggest is for Apple Watch. Although I can get the app on the watch, it would be Amazing to have it on my watch screen so that at a glance, I could see his number. Now I have to use WatchSugar, which is ok-ish... it doesn't update immediately when Dex does. If these two things were done, this would be a ten star app!

Overall, this app and the Dexcom G4 have saved my sanity! I love that each person I'm following can be set up with individual alerts at different blood sugar levels. I do wish that the lows and highs options had more options. I also wished that more than 3 users could be followed. Thankfully my husband and I can follow all three of our children, though. The urgent low alarm is very nice to have because the alert sound can be set to a different sound so you know to take action immediately. The highest bg reading is 55 for this alarm, which is fine for my older two, but for my 6-yo, I'd rather have an urgent alarm at 60. I tend to run his low alarm at 85 because I can then give him a snack to prevent a low entirely. This is important because he has hypoglycemia unawareness. I look forward to the day when Share works with cheaper cell phones. It's costly to have an iPhone strapped to all three of my kids, but especially the 6-yo who's accidentally already ruined one already, and we've been using the app/device 8 months with him. However, I don't think a price can be put on peace of mind and a full night's sleep knowing all three of my kids bgs will alarm should they go out of range.

Love it!!! Our SHARE arrived last week and I am already enjoying the peace of mind it provides. Before the SHARE I would place the Dexcom on my headboard but often it would lose its wireless connection for long periods of time. Now I am virtually guaranteed to be alerted for all lows. At the same time I now get complete BG monitoring data EVERY night which helps greatly in making post midnight and dawn basal rate adjustments. Before the SHARE I would force myself to either stay up extremely late performing BG checks or wake myself up and head upstairs to make the BG checks. Not anymore. I now can rest easier knowing I'll be alerted in the event of any low. Thanks Dexcom!

Compatibility notes in App Store description claim that Dexcom Share app is compatible with iPad, among iOS devices. It's not! To be clear, documentation tha accompanied the Dexcom Share I bought says the Share and Follow apps used with the device support only the iPhone and iPod Touch. But I have iPads -- not iPhones, so I tried it on a hope and a prayer. Nope! I'll update my review to reflect how the app really works when I eventually buy an iPhone.

Works well with an IPhone 4s or higher, but no iPad support makes this a fail. I can't even FOLLOW with an iPad! That makes it an ULTRA FAIL
