It's unfortunate that this doesn't work. I go back to it every 3 or 4 months to try to use it to store my pump setting but it is unstable and always crashes mid use. I see it being upgraded in software for use ability. I wish they would really make it more stable

This is a great idea, but it needs a lot of fixing. Every time I go to enter my pump info, it crashes. However, I am able to review my order history on it just fine.

We were forced by our doctor to get the Medtronic CGM along with our insulin pump for my son. We had been using another company's which worked flawlessly. This med Medtronic equipment is antiquated, poorly designed, with horrible support. Not once were we able to get the equipment working properly, countless calls to tech-support as well as reaching out to the sales rep proved useless. It's very disappointing that such inferior equipment is forced upon innocent patients.

Every time I open this app it gives me a "no network available" message and exits. I do have network, so I think the error message is bogus. Not too happy with this app.

Just got the connect system with new 530g pump. The app has a few bugs (mainly moving in and out of Bluetooth range), but it does what it is supposed to and looks nice as well. The day I can give myself a bolus via an iPhone app, that will be my holy grail.

App has never worked. All it ever says is " network unavailable" even 'though I can sign in on computer in same room. It's a shame, could be very useful

I have attempted to use this app multiple times since I started using a Medtronic pump last year after taking a 2 year break. Each time I have tried to use this app I always end up deleting it because it crashes. To start, every time I open the app I am immediately met with an error message that reads "Warning Network is not reachable." When I try to update my Pump Settings in the "Actions" category, it crashes and none of what I enter is saved. I would like to use this app and its features because I do work a full time job and am very active, so the reminder this app can send to alert me to remember to change my insertion site would be extremely helpful. I believe this app could be good, but it just needs a lot of work to fix whatever bugs cause it to crash so frequently.

The latest update has a site tracker, but it needs work. Touching the screen to record your site is a great idea, but you can't move the "dot" to fine tune the placement. You have to tell the app to move the location, which deletes it and you start over. If you save it, you can't edit it. To make it worse, the zoomed image of the abdomen is a mirror view of the unzoomed image.

This app is an insult to Medtronic pump users. Even with the multiple low reviews, decided to give it a try. Needless to say, the reviews were right on and this program is of no value or benefit. Have absolutely nothing positive to state.

Needs a major rewrite. I have similar issues that have been reported by others - i.e. No way to enter time settings for basal and bolus rates, carb ratios, insulin sensitivity, etc. also the alert tomes displayed are 7 hours after the time that was selected when the alert was set up. Also app is not password. protected

There's not a lot of ways to enter a basal rate. This won't take anything I enter. The one reason I wanted this was to record my settings.

I can't even enter the first entry in pump info. Max bolus was to be 1.10 but it won't allow this saying it has to be 5 digits or less. Shame on Medtronics for this.

I downloaded this app to save my pump settings. Several issues - it seems the app creator has no knowledge of insulin pumps and/or no one with pump knowledge reviewed the app. Standard Basal Rate: No place for times. Basal rates must be whole numbers. My standard basal rate is divided 8 times throughout the day. App only allows for 6. Basal Carb Ratios: Again no place for times. Insulin Sensitivity: Again no place for times. Sensor: Hi & Lo Repeat - Must be a whole number no more than 5 digits. My high is 2 hours my low is 20 minutes. Using this app makes it look like 2 and 20. Minutes or hours? Sensor: Transmitter ID - Issue with the 5 digits. The transmitter IDs have 7 digits.

Just all around bad!

The biggest disappointment about this mobile app is that you can't log out. Which is not good for a health management application. What would make this iphone app useful would be if there was a way to view the care link reports downloaded from the pump - helpful when meeting with doctors. Or if I could add food or exercise journal to care link via this app. Alas, care link doesn't work for users of current apple products, nor does this app provide useful tools for management.

I'm using an iPhone 3 with 6.1 on it. Unable to open app. Just deleted and will try to download again.

I love this app... WHEN IT WORKS!!!! It constantly crashes, sometimes won't let me open and when it does open it freezes up.

I initially downloaded this app because I just received my new Medtronic 530G pump and MiniLink Real-Time transmitter. I was expecting to have a logbook that I could use on my iPhone but the app does not have a logbook. Because I am on automatic supply delivery, this feature is of no use to me. I use the pump’s BG reminder to remind me to check my glucose so this feature is of no use. The custom reminder is good if you are taking other meds. The reminder to change the infusion set might be helpful for some. The pump settings are helpful but lacking. For example, you can enter your “Standard Basal Rates” but you cannot enter the corresponding times for these basal rates. You can enter your “Carbohydrate Insulin Ratios” but you cannot enter the corresponding times for these insulin ratios. You can enter your “Insulin Sensitivity” but you cannot enter the corresponding times. You can enter only one-half of your “Blood Glucose Targets” and as with the above, no corresponding times for these targets. With the pump settings, I would have expected the app would at least mirror the pump setting report from CareLink. If you need quick access to pump errors, this app might be handy. As for videos, blog, travel tips, and travel checklist this is all available on the Medtronic website. If you are using your iPhone or iPad, just open your browser and go to Medtronic’s website to get this information. For me, this app has very limited use and if I want my pump settings, I just go to CareLink and access my recent pump settings. If Medtronic would make some changes to the pump setting area, the information might be helpful for your diabetes healthcare professional.

This is inconvenient, in that it won't flip from portrait to landscape. I have a bluetooth keyboard and I would have to type sideways.

App needs major revisions. Initially worked, to a degree, but failed to startup after iOS 7.1.2 update was loaded. Attempted to obtain help from Metronic but was transferred numerous times, no one wanted to take ownership. Was finally transferred to the voicemail asking that I leave a description of problem and was told the individual would call me when he got off his current call. That was on 07-25-2014. They never called back. After reviewing other reported issues about this app found that my issue was reported back in 2012 and it appears they have done nothing to correct it.

I was so looking forward to using this for the reminder to change Infusion Sets and Sensors, but it doesn't work. PLEASE fix

How a company who makes such an amazing medical device can have such a horrible app I'll never know. I only hope they use the budget for the app, and use it for their products.

This app does not work. It used to but now it shuts down and does not open. It also freezes and requires a phone reset.

The app doesn't work and hasn't been updated in 2 years. It's nothing but a wrapper for an outdated web interface anyway. Medtronic obviously doesn't care. It's not even worth downloading to try out. You'll just be disappointed.

The 'save your pump settings' is invaluable; the reminder section is awesome; and the travel info is timely for summer vacations!

Just like my new REVEL pump alerts me before a low blood sugar, this app reminds me when to change my site, order supplies and bolus. I am a busy grad student and need all the help I can get! Thank you Medtronic! What is next? The artificial pancreas?

When there is a new blog, why does the app send me an alert to it several times even after I've clicked on the actual blog entry? Send me one alert - reminding me again and again about it won't force me to read it - it is worse than a nagging person. Reminders for infusion set & sensor changes is very helpful. Since the last update, the app is rather unstable - keeps crashing.

As a college student I tend to forget and just pass on checking my BGs and stuff. Good reminding. It just needs a retina display improvement for the iPhone 4

Need to have app for spinal cord stimulators by Medtronic

You guys need to fix the blog alerts. Sending the same alert 90 times in a day is obnoxious. Send it once when it posts and be done with it. I'm about to delete this app just because of the blog alerts.

If I received a penny for every duplicate alert I would have enough for a steak dinner at a five star restaurant.

Is there a way to synch my glucometer and pump readings to this program? If so, please include it in the app description. If not, please add this capability in the next version. Thank you.

Since I cant access the online store except by replicating entire past orders, I don't really see the worth of this app. Disappointing.

I read about what diabetes was like in the old days. Short lifespan, crappy medicine (if any), and absolutley no innovative technology, and god knows....no IPhones/IPads. I chose to wear a Medtronic pump not only because it is a PROVEN way to improve my glucouse control and frankly...quality of life...but also because they are way ahead of any other diabetes related medical device company in the world. Their products and customer service are top notch and this app is yet another example of how they care about their patients and make it easier for us to learn and get access to our supplies and help. I have used this app multiple times for different reasons. Yes, the blog alerts in the first version were a bit much, but they are gone since I updated and the benefits certainly outweigh that. Go Medtronic...thank you for making diabetes just THAT much easier to cope with. I wish everyone would stop living in the 'old' days and would get on a Revel with CGM...and then download this app!

Not a useful app for myself, I was expecting to see carelink data but this was not available. It has reminders to check your blood sugar and change pump site, but so does your pump.... Seems like a useless app at the moment. Needs a major update so we can see carelink uploading data

I need to delete this app because of the endless alerts. I tried to turn them off in settings but that doesn't seem to work. I'll reinstall when that gets fixed.

I saw this app mentioned in an email I received from Minimed so I thought I'd give it a try. What a disappointment!! All it is is a collection of the pump's User Guide, the glucose sensor's User Guide, instructional videos from the Medtronic web site and some additional travel tips bundled together. I thought it would possibly have some type of feature to sync my pump and/or glucose sensor, but it doesn't. Any information from my pump or sensor has to be manually entered into the app. And even that information is limited in the app...for example, my pump is programmed with 7 basal rates and 6 bolus ratios. This app has a maximum of 6 basal rates and 4 bolus ratios. So I can't even completely enter in my information. This app is useless for me!

I think app has nice features...if you can get to them. Better have all your account information handy and committed to memory or kept in a safe place for future reference, because setting up/resetting accounts is no fun on this. And I'm not much of a fan of the company either. Placing an order? I have WiFi + 3G, but I just sit and spin, spin, spin, spin the black circle.

I managed to login. But when I go to my orders it never opens, and I have orders that I would like to see. I deleted it, came to this site to redownload. Also checked the reviews. Nobody is maintaining this site.

I use this app primarily for the reminder aspect. At one time it was great for that alone. Now and for sometime it just shuts down 1 to 2 seconds after it opens. Cannot load the future site change date. It appears others have complained the same problem and nobody is taking responsibility to fix the problem. Do not download it!!! Waste of time and space..... I should have heeded the other reviewers' advice. This is a very poorly written app, basically written for obviously very little money so Medtronic can simply say they have an iOS app.

By default the app always capitalizes the first character of the user id. Since some user ID's don't have the first character as a capital letter, it would be better if the default was to not capitalize the first character.

I do not own any iphone or pad, but i use itune on my computer. Does nothing in the program... so it is a let down that i can not even use it at all

Buggy, repetitive and ultimately pointless. I'm surprised Medtronic has such poorly designed apps, although I shouldn't be considering the still don't have online or in app bill pay. I tried to log in twice and the app claimed I had incorrectly entered my password 4 times then locked me out.
