Terrible...
Shows temperature and pollen count, but no levels. Doesn't take into account the different types of asthma (mine is cough variant brittle), or the fact that every persons asthma is different; and the library is extremely basic. Asthma UK's website would be a better place to find information. As for directing people to 'asthma specialists', how many of these so called specialists have any training in controlling asthma?

No peak flow!
Very disappointed there is no way to measure peak flow and way to chart my inhaler usage. I am newly diagnosed with asthma and this would be extremely helpful.

Let down
Needs to be more interactive. No way to log why asthma was good or bad. Pollution and pollen count does not update. No way to go back and update previous days if you forgot, even on website. No feedback option on app or website

Not bad!
I note complaints over lack of PEFR but it's a simple concept with daily prompt (or as set by user) with an easily accessible ACT, which can be emailed. Additional info is useful. Have only trialled in Demo Mode. PEFR plotting would definitely be useful in further updates.

No peak flow data?
Feels like a half completed app. Has a lot of potential, good for logging local temp, weather etc but to you log your data via a sad/ happy face on how your asthma is doing??? Very poor. It just needs a facility to log and chart peak flow data and it would be great - pull your finger out people.

Doesn't really work
Unable to register due to terrible keyboard features. Unresponsive app. Bad quality visuals. Much better apps for this purpose out there.

If you dont live in london dont bother
I downloaded this app and the location didnt have anywhere near where i lived!! I live in the north east and couldnt find any locations near to where i live, not even county durham!!

Excellent App
Great app. I've been looking for something like this for a while on my pc. My only constructive criticism would be to add a did your asthma wake you up last night button. Would be a very useful addition when filling the Callander. I am going to show my months history when I attend my asthma review in early Feb.

Great app
Finally something I can take to my dr that proves how I have been feeling. Thanks!

Great potential
Measuring asthma control is crucial, yet something we don't do very well. This should provide a massive opportunity for people with asthma to understand the degree of their control, to help manage their expectations, and improve their quality of life.

faff
I was just after a pollen count app this starts with a questionnaire about asthma and requires you to create an account.Deleted. Goodbye.

Basic
It only shows your GP/Consultant how you are feeling. It would be much better if you could also enter your peak flows so they can be monitored. I'm having to use this in conjunction with the American asthmaMD app which enables u to enter peak flows, notes, meds taken which can all be sent to your consultant or yourself to print out and take with you. Maybe it would be a good idea if this app did the same

Good advice
A nice free app with some sound advice concerning asthma control. Hopefully will persuade everyone to aim higher

Good but other functions needed
This app has great information about day to day issues with asthma and how to deal with them in addition to how to manage factors which may be causing irritation to your asthma. However I would appreciate a more detailed daily monitoring system as currently you only rate your asthma as good, ok or poor. It would be valuable to have a monitoring system, in addition to the above, which allows you to record peak flow readings and usage of the reliever inhaler where you can log time of day and number of times you have needed to use it. This would be a valuable resource which would help discussions with a GP when assessing the current state of your asthma, particularly during an inflammatory period.

Absolute crap because no way to monitor peak flow
Why on Earth would anyone make an asthma app without the ability to store and chart peak flow readings?! INSANE! The measures used are mostly subjective. Peak flow is objective. Not including this is absolutely shameful and asthmatics may have OK subjective symptoms, but a declining peak flow, which would indicate the need to up your preventer and see your doc. Dangerous and bizarre omission. I expect much better from GSK.

Pointless
What is the point? Without the ability to record PEFR it has no meaning. I will stick with AsthmaMD

Alright
It's an ok app but every day it says the pollen count is low when in actual fact it's very high today and I know that triggers my asthma

Pollen Count Wrong
Says pollen count us low today. Wrong. It's high. App can't be trusted. Deleted.

Has potential, but not quite there.
For some reason this app permanently shows the pollen count as low even when it's very high. Theres no where to track your peak flow, use of inhalers etc, just how's my asthma with 3 faces to pick from. Needs some work!!

Pollen Count?????
This could be a great app. But!!!!!!! The pollen count is stuck on low as is the pollution index. It's 30th june in the center of London, my nose is running and I can't breath properly. Who are you kidding? Lots of good reading, but can't be trusted on the basics. Poor show!

Some improvement needed
Fairly useful but would like to be able to add a note if my asthma is anything but a green face. Also it would useful to make a note of your regular medication and then add any changes you make to control your asthma better or any additional medication you need to take.
