The timely diagnosis and treatment of candidemia is a persistent clinical challenge and may be a key target of antifungal stewardship programs. This app adds four new case studies depicting how stewardship principles may be applied to help address institution challenges in the management of candidemia. Developed with expert faculty, this app also provides evidence-based information with respect to candidemia risk factors, selected diagnostic tests, collaborative management approaches, the use of intravascular catheters, and current etiologic trends.
