Doesn't work with iPhone version 10.0.1

Downloaded iPhone's newest update (10.0.1) and now the app won't work. It closes every time-- can't get past the first screen with the advisory. I even tried deleted the app and re-installing and it still won't work. Major bummer.

Not compatible with new iOS update

I have no clue where to take my shot tonight as the app will not open past the main home screen!! I've deleted and reinstalled it and it still does not work.

IOS 10 Broke It

MyBetaApp is the main reason I bought an iPhone 5 years ago when I was diagnosed. It was the most important app I had ... until I got ios10, and it became a worthless app.

Major fail

I have completely relied on this app to let me know it's shot night, and also to tell me where the sight is on shot night. So very disappointed that I no longer have this tool to rely on. This is important to so many as far as our health. It's such a shame. Please get it together for those of us already suffering enough. Thanks, Sue

Good in Theory - but pretty useless in Reality

05/15/2016. Can't believe that after 5 years these basic flaws have not been fixed. ******************** 2011 feedback - I have tried the app on both iPod Touch and iPad and found that the idea is great but there are crucial flaws. You can not really customize the rotation schedule and the schedule that is part of the app does not match the schedule taught by my original Beta nurse several years ago. The purpose should be to remind me not for me to figure out where the injection was SUPPOSED to be. Second flaw...the reminder requires a wifi connection. Why? Other programs have reminders that work when not connected. These seem basic functions...allow true customization of the rotation schedule and remind me if I am connected or not...like on an overnight flight.

No notifications while app not running in a background

Seriously, guys no one using the App in background due to 1 use every 2 days. Ask you developers to send a local push notification when it's injection time. Very easy to implement!!! And this will be a 5 star App

Notifications not working

Sadly, the notifications included in this application are not reliable. They do not always alert users, nor do they always pop up on the correct days when they do work. I hope these errors are resolved soon.

My phone is notifying me twice a day when I have it set at a set time for every other day. Bugs are not fixed. They only got worse.

Decent app

Been using the app for about a month only complaint is the alarm doesn't alert you when it's time to administer your injection. Please get this bug fixed.

I've been using this app for 2 years now to remind me of my injections. Ever since the Dec 15 update, the app hasn't been opening. I need this fixed asap bc I rely on it so heavily to remember my shots!

Can't open!!!

I've been using this APP to keep track of when and where to do my injections but after updating on 15 December 2014 the app stopped working. Whatever they updated broke the system!!! Please fix the app.

Really frustrated with the app

I am getting pretty frustrated with this app. It was great at first, but now it won't record my injections if I edit the site. It's frustrating and difficult to keep up with injections when the system isn't working. I used to keep them recorded on a paper calendar. Looks like I might delete this app and go back to that. Also the fact that I can't report problems to technical support on the website is maddening.

good meds, bad app

I am not getting the texts that I programmed the app to send me. I don't like that I cant customize my shot rotations. I am disappointed in the app but like the medication.

Very helpful but needs improvement

So glad to ditch the paper calendar and have this app to record injections. The pop-up reminder is great there's one less thing to pack and carry when traveling. I agree with the other reviewers and would like to be able to revise past injections. This would be especially useful since the recommended injection site is always way off (I follow the exact order Bayer gives in the prescribing information except for one time after using this because I was blindly following WHAT THE APP TOLD ME TO DO!) and I have enough cognitive dysfunction from my ms to get me confused every time! So I have to look at the history, edit the injection site du jour and often double-check my accuracy. Notice, also, in the description, Bayer won't read their iTunes reviews and insist you have to call an 800 number if you want to get a message to them about the app. Really 3 1/2 stars but because it's free and has the potential for five! If only they'd read this...

Great app but has room for improvement

Love the reminders! Wish it followed the recommended injection location rotation! The nurse tells me one thing and the app tells me something else! Lol kinda confusing! Lol

Quite useful

This app is VERY useful - I either had to keep track on a calendar or just try to remember when and where I injected. Now, I just press a couple buttons and it's recorded. One of the best things about this app is that you can record notes for the injection; for instancce, I record if the injection hurt and if it bled. And, if you have the iPhone or WiFi access on your iPod Touch, it'll even give you a pop-up reminder that it's time to inject. The way it tells you is kind of creepy - "It's time." :D However, one drawback to this app is that you can't go back and record a past injection very easily. For example, I forgot to record my last injection, and my iPod told me I needed to inject the next day. This was obviously wrong, and when I tried to go back and record that injection, it wouldn't let me record it for the previous day. Now, it's telling me to inject in the same place that I just injected last time. Even with that one big drawback, this is a great app and I'm so happy I found it!

The last update

The last update to the app broke it. When launching I see a screen for a poll for 2 seconds then it crashes. I need this to work! I rely on it religiously. Please fix!

I would rather have the ability to download the old version than a broken app or no app at all (which is what I had between the first update and this new one). Again please PLEASE fix!!!! I LOVED this app PRIOR to the latest update. I used to have trouble remembering when I was due for an injection and what site was up next, but this app kept an easy record for me. Since I updated, it no longer works. Please fix!!!

Used to be 5 stars

The old app was great. It followed the injection schedule to a T. Now however since the update it's constantly off. I literally have to mark my previous injection site to remind me where the next one is supposed to go. The app will tell you to inject right lower thigh then left arm upper. Then back to right stomach middle. Constantly jumping from place to place with no rhyme or reason. Just wish I could get the old version back or them actually fix this one. But hey at least they got it to stop crashing.

Good App -> Bad Update

I used this app, like someone else said, religiously. It updated the other day and now I can't get in!! It crashes each and every time I start it. At first I couldn't get past the initial warning screen. Today, it let's me in but immediately pops up a "you didn't record an injection yesterday" message, and when I touch the "ok" button it crashes. I guess I am lucky that I kept a very basic chart as a back-up. But I thought that is what this app was supposed to eliminate. With all the memory problems ms causes, something like this becomes absolutely indispensable -- and yet I am back to paper and pencil with no details of the last 6 months!! Please FIX IT SOON.

New Version issues

Although you resolved the crash issues and marking injection issues, there is still an outstanding issue with the app reminding you to perform your injection. Previously it would be delayed, now it just doesn't remind you at all. While the new version looks nice it has some issues that need resolved. 1) Although it is set to alert me at 9 pm it is not alerting me til later in the evening (sometime overnight). 2) When I mark I have completed an injection it does not clear and still shows with an outstanding item. I would very much like to go back to the previous version for accurate reminders.

When I had heard about this app, I was excited, especially since I had recently gotten into the habit of forgetting about my shots until late at night - especially the ones I can't reach on my own. I love the idea, and I think it's put together well, but it is painfully slow. I've been able to get all of my alerts, thankfully, and I haven't forgotten a shot in the two weeks I've had it so far.

There are things that could improve it, but this is the first one that I found that will let me indicate where I gave my shot instead of just telling me where to do it. Since I get allergy shots twice a week in both arms, I don't follow one of the usual rotations; I have my own pattern. Thank you for suggesting the place to give it but allowing me to change that. The app is very helpful to me.

Great concept, but...

...a couple of issues. Crashes when adding note to past injection from calendar. Set reminder for 9pm, didn't show up until about 4am. Found the app a week after starting med, unable to change "Start Date" to earlier date. PLEASE fix these issues. Great concept.

Rotating sites?

Was working great until it stopped switching my injection sites. It keeps have me inject in the same area when there are other areas marked. Very annoying guess I'm going back to pen and paper to keep track of the sites.

DO NOT UPDATE TO 2.0.5!!!!

This new version is very buggy. It has screwed up my injection site order and now it looks like I'll have to manually edit them for months on end. Some sites, particularly on the left leg, will not even manually edit and I've had multiple crashes since downloading this update just a few days ago.

This app needs some work. It has potential to be great. My 9pm alert comes at all times during the night, if it comes at all.

Disappointing

I was initially very excited when this app first came out. However, like many others who have reviewed it, you cannot customize your own rotation schedule and must go to 'injection history' for every injection to see where last injection was. My reminder alerts did not always occur, and at times not at all. Most recently, I am getting NO reminder alerts, which frankly has really messed up my injection schedule. I've begun to count on the reminders since I no longer record my injections on a separate calendar. I'm hoping this app is improved soon...it could be a really great tool, if it were reliable.

Great app but it's been lagging

Although I have also had some of the problems other reviewers have had they were my fault my app only lags when I forget to record my injection but when I do record, the app stays right on track with my injection it's a great app for a busy person with MS

Don't update to latest version!

Been using this for as long as I've been taking Betaseron, almost 2 years. It has a decent interface and does its core job but there are several problems. * Insert speed gets significantly slower over time. Recording an injection shouldn't take this long. * Missed Reminders. * Weird injection site suggestions if I miss an injection. I'm tempted to just write my own app at this point...

Got it for the Reminders

I was thrilled to have a calendar that I could set for "every other day" reminders. For several months, the reminders worked great and I gave the app a 5-star rating. However, I haven't been getting reminders for quite a while and I am very frustrated. I am giving 4 stars, now, because I know how great the app is and how much it is needed. Please, please, PLEASE, fix the reminder bug! The reminder alert has been consistently working for several weeks, so I will give it 5 stars, now.

Notes section?

If there is a note section on the injection day...why can't you see the note when you go back to look? I guess I could be missing something? How about a notes tab with a badge? I made a note about a bad injection and would like to go back to see it...but where is it?

Push notification sends everyday!

Would give it a higher rating if the push notifications sent at the right intervals or could be adjusted in the app.

Notification reset

I was without Internet services for two days and now I can't get the audible reminder to reset. This app needs a way to get reminder reset after Internet service outage. I got the alert working for 2 years but had to get new phone and load the app on it. Now I cannot get a reminder alert tone.

Need more flexible scheduling

The app is not too bad overall. My frustration has been that even though I can pick to eliminate a specific site from the injection rotation, I cannot put a specific order of rotation to follow. I repeat the same order and it's not the one that the app defaults too. So, then I have to change the injection location. If I miss one day, there should be an option to "move to next day" which should move all future injections by one day. Doing this manually finally made me decide to stop using the app. I can keep track in "notes" on my iPhone much easier. As far as reminder, I just added a repeating calendar event on my phone's calendar that goes off every other day at 8PM.

Extremely useful!

This app helps me keep track of when and where my next injection takes place. Not only that, but the reminder alert goes off as well in case I forget. It's incredibly useful! One change I'd like to see would be an injection counter. I'd like to keep track of how many shots I've given myself. Great, functional app!

Unreliable

Would be an ideal too for remembering my injection every 48 hrs if the calendar were reliable. I get reminders to do my shot sometimes 3 days in a row, even though I'm recording each accurately.
