Pulse is the app that measure you heart rate with a simple microphone. Like a digital stethoscope. In free culture this is a Phonocardiogram*.
The heart rate values was validated with some heart rate monitoring like Polar and Zephyr Bluetooth technology. The consideration for a lot of applications that can be made with this app, include ubiquitous heath and changes for life.

Place the microphone in the palm of your hand or inside a cup and use like a stethoscope. You will need a quiet room and be quiet too.

Since the mobile device market is very fragmented, this application only works on some devices.
NOTE II: IMPORTANTE
if you DO NOT put anything like the sound of your heart not expect good values. they will be generated by noise. in fact, when you put the sound of your heart the algorithm can hear it!
