I like this app much better than the NEW "care 4 today" app. You can see the pills much better and I like the system much better than this new app.

This app has help me get use to being on life long medication. Worked quite well, although has never kept a true record of remaining tablets. Now after changing the reminder time for one medication, the alert sounds but the record isn't available to record compliance. Despite updates, keeping a correct tally seems beyond reach.

I love the app!! My kidney and lupus doctor both recommend me to get the app and it reminds me every day when to take each of my pills and if you miss it, it shows you how well your doing over time you're doing that. Which is GREAT for my doctors and me. The only problem is that it needs to have an update because the app shuts off by itself and goes to the home screen. And for me it's causing a problem because it's hard to get back to me telling it at the correct time when I take my pills.

Please, please, PLEASE I need an iPad compatible app. Only thing I really can complain about.

Once upon a time this app worked almost flawlessly. Then about a month ago it started to erroneously report missed dosages and stopped alerting to refill times. Numerous attempts to contact their customer support have gone unanswered. I'm going to find a replacement. Save yourself the hassle and just get a different app.

This app used to work PERFECTLY. I had become so dependent on it that I kept my phone with me at ALL times. Then last week, I started getting headaches and (had brain surgeries so I forget a lot) and I thought to open the app to check what time I took my meds and it turned out that was the only reason I opened the app because I sure as hell wasn't receiving notifications anymore! Hadn't received them in 3 days! No luck reaching support and on top of that, it had erroneous reporting info. Basically said I hadn't adhered to my schedule 100% but I know I had missed 6 dosings, not 12. They don't even report the amount of money donated anymore...and that was the reason I chose this app because I was helping the cause simply by taking my medications on time! Now this app is worthless and unattended. Don't waste your time. Find another app to use. Two thumbs down. 👎🏽👎🏼

It seems limited to adding up to 5 medications per time period. I'd like to enter up to 12. Too bad.

This is good but if you use a liquid medication, you can not input correct units of measure in the qty on hand such as milliliters , liquid ounces etc. also cannot input take by teaspoon, table spoon etc Please fix this

App is well laid out, but very slow to acknowledge that you've taken any meds, this then gets a red mark against your med line and you can't rectify it afterwards!! But other than that a very good app

I have used this app for over a year. When I first started it was good, the alarm when off at the set times and 30 mins later as a reminder. But now it doesn't always go off on the set times but would go off 30 mins after the alarm should have gone off. If you have forgot to mark off your meds that you taken it will turn red but you can alter this the next day, even this is getting worse, I mark mine when I go to bed and it takes a long time to register so I leave the app, then the next day it's either green for taken or red for missed. Speed it up and update the app and allow for more days to be marked off.

I really love this app! My health issues change frequently and it is difficult to keep up with my medications. This app has kept me on track. I do wish the home display page would put meds that are used only occasionally at the bottom of the page rather than at the top. It would also be great if one could print out their meds taken over the previous month or so.

A PRN facility would enable the user to track how many tablets had been taken. Thereby avoiding "overdosing"

I have used this app for years on the andorid platform. I recently switched over to an iphone. Everything is the same except for the fact that I keep getting reminders to take my medicine even though I have maked them as taken.

My app stopped working for a few days ago. The app keeps closing down as soon as I open it or click on the notification. Because I cannot say I taken medication I keep getting alarms. Used to like this app now I hate it. It breaks to often.

I was using this app to remember to take my meds as I have a memory like a sieve, unfortunately it crashes each time I load it now 😞

Love this app it helps a lot. If I ignore the reminder my family prompt me and it does help a lot. Can we get it registered to uk pharmacy and GP I do feel it would help. It not available yet but I would recommend it.

New review....(12/2/15) need an update. It keeps crashing, it takes twelve tries to mark that I took my medication. Wish this app had total access without WiFi. It seems like you can't update your meds and sometimes it doesn't show that a med was taken if you are just on Data. I do not have 24/7 access to WiFi, but need to access information when just data is available.

My app stopped working for a few weeks. I had to deleted the app and then re download it and log in. It has days of red that I want to edit but there isn't a button to let me. So now the chart isn't giving a true reading of what medications I have taken.

I have been using this for myself for several months now, and find it very helpful. But I had thought that I would use the Care4Family feature, but I definitely can’t until the BIG ISSUE is sorted out. Quite often, when I indicate that I’ve taken a medicine, the app decides that I didn’t and records it as missed. If I let my family see this, they will think I’m missing stuff when I’m not. It also upsets me big time!! Until this is fixed, I wouldn’t recommend anyone use it.

I have used this app for about a year now and found it to be a good reminder for taking my meds. If I'm not in a wifi area or I don't turn on my 3G network the reminder goes off 30 minutes late. Sometimes I forget to update date the app so it comes up red as if I haven't taken my meds but you can only go back 24 hours, so if you're like me and want the whole week to show up green (that you've taken all your meds) you have to do it daily.

The app has started crashing upon started up and has become useless. I tried to contact support but the link does not work. Hopefully this will catch their eye and they will fix it.

This past few days, my app keeps crashing. I take quite a few pills (Kidney transplant) and have been using this app to track my meds. I get reminders to take the pills, but when I open the app to mark that I took them, it will crash. Can someone look into this issue?

This is quite useful but is very inflexible. It will only work on one device, which is poor. Once set up it isn't possible to edit records very easily. If you make a mistake recording a medicine as being taken you can't undo it. You can't change the standard picture of a tablet without deleting it and starting again. This app needs a lot of work, but is at least usable.

I love this application. Very useful application. It helps me monitor my husbands medication. He is very inconsistent taking his medication, whenever he misses his medication I remind him. Wonderful feature. I use custom reminder feature for my exercise schedule.

Don't waste your time with this. It never completes the medication download, complete waste of time, at least it was free and I didn't waste any money.

Today I used it for the first time. I accidentally tapped on a med and it recorded that I took it. Not a big deal as I took it about 15 minutes later, but I thought it would be nice to have an "undo" feature or the ability to add a note. Also this evening I realized I had entered one of my meds under the brand name when I actually take the generic version. I couldn't edit it (that I could find), so I deleted it and entered the correct med. However, it also deleted that I took the medication today and I can't enter that I took it this morning with the others.

My biggest complaint about this app is your inability to correct if you've taken meds late in the evening or after midnight. Once you've rolled past midnight, there is no way to go back to mark anything from the previous day. You can't always have your phone with you and should be allowed to make the adjustment.

I have to take 3 seizure meds so this app is great for compliance. However, there are a few flaws when it comes to other medications. For example,when it comes to other prescription medications that are taken throughout the day that are the same medication, but different dosages, The medication has to be entered twice, and it would also be helpful to you be able to add the condition or reason for the medication taken. Another thing that would be helpful to add to the app would be ADRs as well as the drug name that is associated with the allergy. Also, if there is an allergy to it is not a allergy, that would be helpful information as well. OTC reactions and ADRs should also be added to this app as well. All of that said,this app is very helpful for someone like me that has several conditions, such as epilepsy, Addison's, Hashimoto's, and several others. Also if it were possible, to add any other kinds of notes necessary to the bottom, it might be helpful. Very helpful app‼️‼️‼️love the charity feature! PROBABLY THE BIGGEST DRAW AND BIGGEST REASON WHY I CHOSE THIS app over all other medication reminders. Wish there were some more to chose from, however, I do like the ones you do have!

FINALLY redesigned the app to allow for going back a day and logging medication taken but not marked as such. That is a huge improvement and one that I had been waiting for. The only downside I've found so far is that the app crashes every time I try to log my last medication. (I take 4-5 meds each morning and each night.) Using an iPhone 6+ and iOS 8.1.3. Fix that glitch and the app will be exactly what I need!

Worked great until a few days ago when it would crash when I would click on the last medication for night. Now 2/16/15 when I open it, it crashes I can't even mark my medications. I love the program and searched for just the right one. I guess I will go back to the other one as I doubt this one will be fixed.

I've left 10 messages but no return calls unless they're using Unlisted Number. The app keeps crashing the last two days but they aren't returning calls. I loved the app but not customer service experience.

Complete waste of time. Just displays average to slightly above average readings. Plenty other quality apps to choose from.

Overall this is a great app. I like that it has a list of every medication by almost every brand including store brands. It also includes pictures or allows you to take your own. I only have one complaint and I hope they would include this in the next update. When you set a reminder for 8:00am but you don't take the medicine until 9:00am I wish it would reflect that when clicked. I also love that you can choose a charity and if you take all of your medicine, a donation is made daily.

After the initial setup, which could be tedious for someone unfamiliar with their device, the program works perfectly. My reminders come in and there has been more than one time, that I had forgotten, otherwise. I get reminders to reorder when meds are low and my favorite feature is being able to send the information to my doctors and pharmacist. The coolest though, is the donation made to my favorite charity, when I remember to take my meds. I love this app.

It would get 5 Stars easily from me if the developers would add the ability to input the actual time you took your medication. As an example: If I'm scheduled to take a med at 6:15am but I don't take it until say, 6:26am it should give me the option to record that time. That way, I could look back and see the exact time a dose was last taken and I can adjust accordingly for my next dose. Implement that and this app would be perfect!

We use this for our hiv positive patients in the pharmacy to encourage them to adhere to their mediation better. I made my fiancé start using it to keep track of his colitis medications, and I use it to keep track of my anti-inflammatories. It's a great app that donates to charity for every perfectly adherent day!

Very time consuming and no info that it would cost $3.00 for full version😱. Then I tried this one. What A Difference! Just too many good things to say about it. Easy entry of medication; I take several Meds each day at different times. Took me over an hour😠 to enter info on the $3.00 app but only took about 20 minutes with this one.👍 Color coded tiles keep track of how much to take and when. If you've taken your Meds all week, on time, app makes charitable contribution to one of four organizations,which you designate. It's a Win-Win app. And it's FREE! No hidden charges to get rid of ads or enter limit number of Meds to enter. I'm very impressed by this app.‼️ Will be deleting the other on👎 as well as the others I downloaded to see how they worked. Those are getting deleted too. Why waste time when you've found the best.🎉 Did I mention it's FREE and makes donations to charities? No matter, repetition is a good thing.😄(I don't work for these people!)

I find this really useful to remind me to take medication. I'm sure it would be great for elderly folk and their families for monitoring purposes. It would be good if there was ability to have the app logged in on more than one device, at the same time, and if the actual times the medication was recorded as being taken was available, as sometimes I don't take some at the appointed times and then I tend to forget when the next dose can be taken. For example, today I took paracetamol at 9:00 am, then did not need to take again at 13:00 as normal and took them at 15:00 meaning I must not take the next dose at the saved time of 18:00 but at or after 19:00. It would be good if I could check back to see when I had recorded taking the dose I should have taken at 13:00.

The best pill reminder apps I have used. It has 99.99% of the pills I take just a small change needed as far as color of pills but that's easy to edit.

This has helped me to take my meds and helped in reminding me to re order tablets

A useful little app, mostly helpful but since the last update a bit glitchy- missed doses that haven't been missed so my data isn't quite accurate...

I just downloaded this app and began filling they in my medical info. The big flaw that I see is a lack of a calendar that shows when your dose will be due. ie when you take certain meds every 4 weeks. I wanted to verify the reminder would show up on the correct day, but was unable to do so. This would be especially handy for folks that travel for work to remind them, when it is necessary to take the monthly dose along.

Wanted to enter details on my iPad but it won't let me login as I'm logged in on my iPhone. Not impressed.

Haven't had any problems with this app other than a bit of slow loading. It works great to remind you when to take your medicine! The charity thing is an amazing addition as well, it helps you get motivated to not miss your meds.

This app really helps me. I suffer from seizures so this app is very helpful and needed. Of course it will always come down to you actually taking your pill. But it's a nice reminder. I really love the compliance chart.

So, let's start with the weird oversize medicine bottle icons and the inscrutable lower bar that looks like something straight out of a porn spam site. But design isn't anything if it works right? I accepted a distorted picture and waaaay too many required fields and then.. Nothing was saved. So, worse than useless.

This new app has good potential. I find it a bit unrealistic in expecting users to acknowledge the notification for each dosage. If you do miss acknowledging the app notice, and do take the dosage on time, adjusting this to taken is less than straight forward. The new app development going forward will I'm sure will bring improvement's.

This had potential but it had only one profile it need to be able to add other family member such has a child if possible but also add the dog or cat medication as well as my daughter especially now it winter everyone coming down with something not just ur normal medication it as shame that antibiotic are not in it own list because it all mix up with lifelong medication still it can still be improve also it would help if they can put in the Interval time automatically weather it 2x a day or 3/4/5/6 time a day within the 24hrs it hard to know I am taking it at the right time & are space out evenly & correctly too let face it I've asked doctor this I get told it will tell u on ur medication but they don't always if automatically done by putting the first time it will automatically space out evenly & set the time out for when ur next dose it to be taken

This app is good for reminding. Although some times I take the medication but forget to say I did. Be good if you could edit days to change them from missed to taken.

Only goes up to 6 doses a day and I take up to 8 of the same tablets a day.

But, I'm having issue entering medication info. When trying to add a new medication, The dosage and frequency lines open a box that I think you're supposed to enter info in. But, no keyboard opens and no other way to enter data and I have to close the app.

Downloaded just today. Love the concept but inputting the first medication and clicking on either dosage or frequency caused the app to freeze. Tried closing out completely and inputting again with same result.

Used this for about 2 months. I like the strong visual display. However, editing medications causes the app to lock. I want to use this for my Mother and me but it doesn't seem to allow for this. Will continue to use but if I find a different app to track the family as well, I will try it.

This app is a great idea, but it doesn't work, anytime you try to edit dosages or amounts the app freeze and locks up. The only way to get out of that screen is to app kill.

I have tried several of these programs and this one showed the most promise. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The alert tone is too quiet. There is no way to change the the tone to a louder alert. When adjustments were needed in the meds, the program froze. It also middle not allow for hours dosing. I have a med that is dosed every 72 hours. There was no real way to add the dosing proper. Let me know when these issues are addressed and I will down load the app and try again

I was excited to find an app to help with a reminder that is every 12 weeks, but when I try to add the dose/frequency of meds it locks up. I hope it gets fixed .

Help keep all mediation in one place

I have a prescription that is taken several times a day - one is at 11pm. Contrary to what some may think - our cell phones aren't at our sides 24/7 :-). So the inability to update a prior day is probably an issue. I too remember to take medicine but not update my app. The Walgreens Rx app allows you to update any past day (each day is kept separate and you can also scroll forward in date as well). So it's doable. There is also to consider while driving/travel, sleeping, not taking within certain times of other meds if one gets behind or takes ahead. The only reason I'm using this app currently is it is recommended by my insurance company. I will over time figure out if it is "too high maintenance". The app should help - not become one more thing to manage. I will be glad to update this if they update the ability to alter missed or future times. Additional: the OTC vitamin database needs a rethink. I must take specialized separate B vitamins. None of them are in the database (OTC nor chemical name). They are severely lacking in custom area. Softgels and Vcaps for example aren't rare - yet neither is listed - just tablet or capsule etc. there is a difference in the 3 (some vitamin companies offer a vitamin in all 3 types, and they are not all absorbed or tolerated the same). A simple solution is if it is custom, to allow also custom type fields. Again - most other apps allow custom entries :-)

I want to use this for my Mother and me but it doesn't seem to allow for this. I love the visual schedule. Will continue to use but if I find a different app to track the family as well, I will try it.

I love this app and have been using it for a few months! My only problem is that somehow it is not reminding me at the set times now but instead only at the 30 minute past due time for the medication. I guess I could change all the times but that could be a hasle especially if I really do forget it because then I won't get the reminder message.

I absolutely love this app! However I wish there was a way I could change the alert tone to better catch my attention. Maybe an idea for an upcoming update??? Hope so. But good app nonetheless!!!

Very nice app in terms of listing if medications and times. The reminder function is also good as long as you don't change time zones often. My wish would be the ability to "go back in time" and acknowledge meds taken on a prior day. There appears to be no ability. While I don't forget to take my meds, I do forget to use the app daily.

It's good for reminding me about taking my tablets but keeps saying I've missed tablets out. I know I haven't missed any so gets a bit confusing when you know you have taken them. Luckily I keep mine in a weekly day morning to night tablet keeper. So know if I've missed or not.

- If you have taken your medication, but did not respond to the alert in the application within 3 hours, your medication will be marked as missed. To edit this, go to the home screen, swipe right to get to the completed screen, tap and hold to mark the dose as taken. You can only mark doses taken in the current day. - When marking medications as taken, please wait a few seconds to allow the information to be recorded. You will notice that the 7-day adherence report at the bottom of the home screen will update when the dose has been recorded. - For help with any application issues, contact Customer Care at 1-800-503-1049.

The only issue I have with the app is the inability to update a prior day. Nothing more annoying than taking your medication but forgetting to update the app! Grr....

The app does not allow you to enter the dose you need to take. It only allows you to enter how many doses. This isn't helpful when the medication is in liquid form and your doses vary.

Loved how simple this app was to use. Good options to add pictures when I couldn't find the exact medicine in the database supplied. Easy to monitor compliance.

I'm a hectic working mother and have often missed the odd dose but this app really helps. Once you get used to the reminders popping up you start to love it. My husband uses it for his many blood pressure meds, so I get a notification if he forgets. Just great. And it's easy to set up too.

I suffer from allergies and yet often forget to take meds before leaving the house. This literally provides a breath of fresh air.

It reminds you to take your meds… but it doesn't ALWAYS recognize that you selected the "TAKEN" option… and seems to consistently show missing dates…that are not accurate. VERY BUGGY. NEEDS MORE WORK!. But Like I said… It's a GOOD REMINDER!

Works as a great reminder for medications. Seems to be a glitch though... With the first reminder, if you hit that you took it, you still get another reminder half an hour later and then it acts like you didn't take the medicine at all. Hoping a fix comes soon.

There is no way to go back to previous day to mark meds taken but not logged. Also have problem with marking taken only it find later they are marked not taken... Was going to use to show Dr, but with these problems not an accurate picture.

App does the job of reminding me to take my medicine. Bug requires app to be opened twice on alert (30 minutes after you logged taking a dose) or you're logged as not taking it (isn't that kind of dangerous?). Also, as mentioned by other raters, compliance can't be edited, so it's kind of useless. Fix those two things and I'd definitely increase the rating.

The reports and reminder support features are extremely helpful!!! Life can get crazy with work and travel and this helps me stay on track. Great upgrade from the previous version!

Helpful app when taking care of aging parents and young kids. This app is really fantastic when trying to take care of my family. I can use the care4family function to add family members and help make sure my mom is taking her medication when she is supposed to... I even get notifications when my mom misses a dose so I can give her a call and remind her. Easy to use, simple to sign up and overall a good interface. Care4charity is also a great perk and gives me that little bit more of an incentive to be adherent so I can give to my charity of choice. I have tried other medication apps and this one has the extra features I want while still keeping the process simple and quick! Great app!

I have my wife, sons, and daughter all connected in Care4Today using Care4Family for medications and household chores. I get alerted immediately if my wife misses her Levoxyl or my older son misses his Cymbalta. Recently I walked outside and took a picture of our outside trash cans and created a custom reminder for my 16 year old son to take the trash out every Monday after school. This app is a really great way to keep track of lots of medications. Very useful! Please note I am a Janssen employee and am expressing my opinion in line with the J&J worldwide online policy.

I have been using the app for over 2 months now, I use it to remind me for taking my medications and vitamins. It is extremely helpful for vitamins that I only take once a week. In the past, I only took them whenever I saw them and now I get reminded every Sunday evening. It is great how you can add a picture of your own medication and also how you can search in their database for your medication.

The app will only display one med on the screen that you tap to indicate taking, skipping the med. it's nice that the app gives you a list of MEDS to choose from, and displays pictures of the MEDS but it won't allow me to add more that one med. it displays the entered MEDS on the med screen. As it is now it isn't very useful.

Loved this app until the "time change" today. Even though my phone time changed correctly with daylight savings time, the app did not and now is telling me to take everything an hour earlier than its suppose to. Please fix. Thanks.

Needs some tweaking, but can be quite useful. It is very slow to add your medications which is annoying. Hopefully they will fix this very soon. Also adding physician appointment reminders would be a great addition, perhaps with a lookup for local doctors, dentists, etc. But this is great for those who forget med doses or to call in the refills!

When I tried to put my dosage of insulin in it won't go higher than 10 and I take 60 units daily. Should fix this in update.

It is a great idea, but most of the time I don't get the alerts. It also hasn't updated my compliance calendar for almost a week. I wish I could also see the amount "I" have donated to charity by taking my medication.

Have been using this app for a couple of days. Have not been able to take all my meds at the same time daily and although it was not hard to recover from that, the database is NOT reflecting the meds taken for last night or this morning. Don't know how that is possible since I have taken all my meds and edited each to indicate I had taken them. But now daily history doesn't represent my actual usage. Gave it 4 stars because this does have a purpose, but am less than satisfied by the inaccuracies in the history. I want to say that the install and entry was easy, but online activity seems to be draining my phone all too quickly, so have turned off the constant network access. --additional: since turning off constant network connect my CPU use has gone from 40% to 4%. Definitely a bug. Also, no support by email, only phone call.
