The White Paper for rheumatoid arthritis of recent onset in Spain is an initiative of the Working Group on recent onset arthritis SER sponsored by Abbvie, with the intention to describe the current situation of care of the disease in Spain, the benefits of early diagnosis and treatment and, after detecting difficulties, provide possible solutions to them.

The specific objectives of the White Paper are:

Describe the current situation of the early attention of RA in Spain

Describe the impact / clinical, social, economic benefit diagnosis and early treatment of RA, compared with late diagnosis and treatment.

Identify areas for improvement or develop recommendations for early treatment of RA of recent onset in Spain.
